Divyaroshni Foundation

Divyaroshni Foundation was started by Keshuben Chauhan, a nurse by profession and a visionary at heart. As a single mother, Keshuben faced significant challenges in providing her daughter with a quality education. This struggle opened her eyes to the larger issue of educational deprivation in her community, particularly in the southern regions. She realized that while she couldn’t solve the world’s problems, she could extend a helping hand to those in need.

With this vision, Keshuben established Divyaroshni Foundation in 2015. The foundation started as a small initiative to educate underprivileged children, beginning with just five students. Over time, the initiative blossomed into Divya Roshni Street School, which now serves more than 100 children.

Today, the foundation operates with the support of over 15 dedicated volunteers. The street school functions twice daily, ensuring that children receive a healthy breakfast and their daily essentials. Festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm, and value-based education is an integral part of the curriculum.

For students who show academic promise but face financial constraints, the foundation provides support for school and tuition fees. Beyond education, Divyaroshni Foundation fosters holistic development by encouraging activities like dance, singing, drawing, and other creative pursuits.
